Our story

Engineer meets trainer.

We're a husband-and-wife team: a mechanical engineer and a personal trainer, both gym lifters.

The Phone Riser started with her daily stair-climber sessions and a phone stuck on the ledge.

We designed it in SolidWorks and printed the first prototypes at home.

Today every Phone Riser is 3D-printed in Southern California from PETG. Cushie Pads are our fix for the hip abduction machine.

Worth it

It might seem pricey for a piece of hard plastic, but it’s the only product I could find that is compact, adjustable, and fits this purpose, and I will always happily pay for something that I use daily that makes my life better in a small way. The large one fits perfectly for the treadmills at my area Planet Fitness locations: Matrix and Lifefitness. It props my iPhone pro max in landscape mode so I can watch videos and doesn’t block the fan and I can still figure out the elapsed time
